Cassels Brock & Blackwell LLP, an October 10, 2018, decision of the Ontario Superior Court, the court held that the defendant Cassels Brock & Blackwell LLP (the “law firm”) was liable to pay the costs of administering the proceeds of the judgment to the class members, and that it was not appropriate to reconsider substantive issues in the litigation at the point of quantifying damages.
