Law Works would like to welcome Mandana Niknejad to our legal team, to practise in the areas of corporate/commercial and franchise law and dispute resolution. Mandana brings over seven years of international legal experience to Law Works PC/LC. She obtained her first law degree in Tehran in 2008, followed by a Master of Laws (LLM) degree in International Business Law from McGill University in Montreal, and a Master of Laws (LLM) degree in Canadian Common Law/Juris Doctor from the University of Toronto, where she achieved excellent academic standing. She was called to the Ontario Bar in 2020.
Mandana started her legal career in international arbitration, working on files that included commercial disputes between governments. She has represented clients before the International Chamber of Commerce in France (ICC), London Court of International Arbitration in the UK (LCIA), and Dubai International Arbitration Centre in the UAE (DIAC). She has also worked in a top–tier European law firm, based in Germany, where she was the head of the M&A legal team, representing multinational companies and large European manufacturers in their M&A deals and other investment projects.
Mandana speaks English, Persian, French, and has some understanding of Arabic. In her free time, you can find her riding a bike at a spinning studio and outdoors.
