In his article titled, It Shouldn’t Be so Easy to Transfer Your Foreign Law Degree Back to Canada, published in Huffingtonpost.ca today, Ben Hanuka discusses the growing phenomenon of Canadian students who systemically circumvent the Canadian law school system and LSAT requirements. These students obtain foreign law degrees and return to Canada to easily re-qualify here.
In Ben’s view, this is not in the public interest. Ben’s Bencher election platform provides further details about the need to raise entrance standards to the legal profession.
