  • Representing secured creditors, franchisors and franchisees with respect to the granting of credit (lending) and the taking of security – including creation, perfection, priorities and enforcement of securities (including under the Personal Property Security Act – PPSA) outside bankruptcy, and after bankruptcy
  • Winding down or taking over franchisee units
  • Winding down or taking over franchisor companies
  • Representing secured creditors, franchisors and franchisees in the reorganization of insolvent franchisors or franchisees, including in court proceedings under the PPSA and the Bankruptcy and Insolvency Act
