Law Works Professional Development is please to announce the launch of our new 1-day course, Franchise Arbitration Procedure which is designed to provide solicitors and litigators who represent franchisors or franchisees with a knowledge of key procedural elements of franchise arbitration.

The packed one-day course will be offered for the first time on May 9, 2024, and consist of 6.5 hours of instructional time, case law, practice points, group discussion and an in-class group exercise drafting arbitration agreements.

The program is delivered by Program Director and Lead Instructor, Ben Hanuka, over Zoom, cost $695 (plus tax) and has been approved for the following CPD hours:

  • In Ontario: This program is eligible for 40 minutes of professionalism hours; and up to 6 substantive hours.
  • In British Columbia: This program is eligible for up to 6.5 Substantive Hours
  • In Alberta: Lawyers are encouraged to include the course in their annual professional development plan.
