We are pleased to announce that the 2018 edition of the prestigious Canadian civil litigation book, Annual Review of Civil Litigation, features a comprehensive paper authored by Ben Hanuka analyzing legal principles of Canadian judicial discretion. The paper is titled, “Dissecting Judicial Discretion”.
Law Works’ associate lawyer, Anthony Pugh, assisted Ben Hanuka with researching for the paper, which spanned over a year (during that time, Anthony was an articling student at the firm).
The Annual Review of Civil Litigation is the leading annual in-depth review and analysis of civil litigation developments in Canada. It is edited by Mr. Justice Todd Archibald of the Ontario Superior Court of Justice and published annually by Carswell (Thomson Reuters). The 2018 edition, published in November 2018, is the 18th edition of the annual review, and contains 21 wide ranging in-depth articles about civil litigation issues. It is read by Canadian civil litigation lawyers and is often cited by all level of courts and tribunals across Canada.
