Law Works PC is pleased to announce the expansion of its services with the establishment of a Securities Enforcement Practice.

As part of this new practice area, Law Works PC will represent parties in all matters relating to Securities Litigation and Enforcement, including the following:

  • Defending parties charged with offences and other administrative sanctions imposed under the Ontario Securities Act and other Ontario provincial securities acts, such as disciplinary hearings of the Mutual Fund Dealers Association of Canada;
  • Representing parties in damages and other civil liability claims relating to continuous disclosure documents under Canadian provincial securities legislation.

The addition of this practice area is part of Law Works PC’s long-term strategy of capitalizing on its significant expertise in franchise litigation through a gradual expansion into other specialized practice areas.
